ReQardio ("we", "our", or "the app") is built on a simple principle: your health data is yours. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and how the app handles your information.
We collect nothing.
ReQardio does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers — because we have no servers. There is no account to create, no login, and no analytics SDK in the app.
All measurements recorded by the app (weight, BMI, body fat, muscle mass, body water, bone mass) are stored exclusively in your private CloudKit database, which is part of your personal iCloud account managed by Apple. We have no access to this data — not even in aggregate or anonymised form.
Your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and iCloud terms.
The app uses Bluetooth to communicate directly with your QardioBase 2 scale. This connection is entirely local — between your iPhone and your scale — and no measurement data is sent anywhere over the network as part of this process.
If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, the app will write weight and body composition data to the Health app on your device. This is opt-in and controlled entirely through iOS's standard HealthKit permission prompt. We do not read any other data from Apple Health.
ReQardio contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, no crash reporting SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not use cookies, device fingerprinting, or any other method to identify or follow you.
We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect nothing, no special handling is required.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and note the update in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
