Yes. If your QardioBase 2 is frozen trying to reach Qardio's defunct servers, ReQardio can reset it over Bluetooth and get it measuring again in seconds.
No. The scale connects directly to your iPhone over Bluetooth. Measurements are saved locally and sync to your private iCloud when connectivity is available, but weighing in works completely offline.
The QardioBase 2 measures weight, BMI, body fat %, muscle mass %, body water %, and bone mass. These are all captured in a single weigh-in.
No. ReQardio is a one-time purchase of $3.99. Pay once, own it forever.
All measurements are stored in your private CloudKit database on Apple's iCloud infrastructure. ReQardio has no backend servers. Your data never leaves Apple's systems.
ReQardio can receive weigh-ins while running in the background. If the app is fully force-quit, iOS won't maintain the Bluetooth connection, so keep it running in the background for automatic capture.
